Artist's Statement

Having lived in the Southwest for over forty years, I am enchanted with the desert environment. But growing up around water, I also love to photograph the oceans and lakes. My landscapes focus on the empty spaces and vast skies.

Recently I began doing composite work. The composites are all a combination of two or more of my own photographs. There is no AI involved. Although I started out doing nature composites, I have gradually changed my style to more surreal images.

Completely different than landscapes, I also do street photography, concentrating on tattoo events. I love capturing a moment in time in people's lives that make us want to know more about them, to ask questions.

I print my own work and can print from 8 1/2” x 11” to 17” X 22”. Larger sizes are available that I have printed with a local commercial printer and I approve the final print. Please contact me for information on prices and sizes. All prints are limited edition.
