Ink is a project I have been working on for almost two years. As someone who has tattoos, I became interested in the culture and history surrounding tattoos. These photos, which will be showing at Art Obscura Gallery from April 11 through May 8, 2015, are the result of the time I have spent at tattoo festivals. Many people (including the tattoo artists) all in one place make for a great opportunities to develop this portfolio. Although some tattoos are simply decorative, much of this artwork (as you can see by the statements) is very meaningful to the wearer.
